Homayoun Razavi is the Chief Customer Officer (CCO), EVP Global Sales & Digital Marketing at Coriant, where he is responsible for worldwide sales and digital marketing with a strong focus on bringing the best products, services, and support to his customers.
A seasoned executive leader and customer advocate with 32 years of global public and private company experience, Mr. Razavi has managed engineering, operations, products, GTM, marketing, BD, and sales for a wide range of technology driven software, hardware, services, and cloud based companies. He has grown organizations from 5 to more than 700 people while increasing revenue from $1 million to $750 million.
Mr. Razavi joined Coriant with extensive experience beginning with several key engineering, operations, and product roles during his 10 years at MCI (Verizon) along with 22 years of sales, marketing, GTM, and BD experience. He continued his career as VP of Global Customer Team at Lucent followed by SVP Global Sales at Ditech Networks. Moving on to Managing Director at BroadSoft, he was instrumental in their successful IPO and oversaw 7 years of 25% revenue growth with 85% profit margins and a stock price increase from $8 to $45.
Mr. Razavi’s contributions won many strategic deals such as Verizon Wireless B-VoLTE (One-Talk), AT&T Domain 2.0 SDN/NFV architecture (Collaborate), Sprint - Apple VoWiFi, Rogers B-VoLTE (Unison), Comcast Nationwide UC, Amazon, Vodafone, Orange, BT, and others. Mr. Razavi is well-versed in leading successful entrepreneurial teams and trailblazing startups such as Ascend and Cascade. Prior to joining Coriant, Mr. Razavi worked with NJK Holding Corporation, a private equity firm, as Vice Chairman of two startups, Crunch Media Works and Bluechip Systems, in San Francisco. He is an Academic Board Member at ISDI Digital University in Silicon Valley.
